Job Description:

The Azure Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing, governing, and guiding the implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure. They will work closely with technical and business teams to define solutions aligned with organizational needs, ensuring best practices, operational efficiency, and the continuous evolution of platforms.

Responsibilities:

Architecture & Design
Define reference architectures, landing zones, standards, and best practices for Azure solutions.
Design solution architectures, integration, networking, identity, and security, ensuring scalability and resilience.
Evaluate new Azure technologies and services, recommending their adoption when they add value.

Governance & Strategy
Define governance standards, including cost management, tagging strategy, policies, and RBAC.
Support digital transformation initiatives aligned with the organization’s Cloud strategy.
Ensure alignment with frameworks such as CAF (Cloud Adoption Framework) and the Well-Architected Framework.

Technical Advisory
Provide advisory on the behavior and limits of Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Security).
Support migration, modernization, and system integration projects.
Produce architectural documentation, technical diagrams, and executive reports.

Collaboration & Mentoring
Work with engineering and development teams to ensure correct implementation of architectural design.
Participate technically in Azure environment implementation and modernization processes.
Support the team’s technical growth by promoting best practices and continuous learning.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in designing and managing enterprise architectures.

  • Experience in Azure migration projects and application modernization.

  • Strong knowledge of core Azure services: Compute, Storage, Networking, Identity, Security, and Governance.

  • Experience with DevOps (Azure DevOps or similar) and CI/CD practices.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates).

  • Solid knowledge of systems integration and distributed platforms.

  • Experience in implementing Azure services.
