Job Description:

Data Engineer with strong hands‑on experience building data pipelines using Couchbase, Kafka, STRIIM, GoldenGate, and NiFi in an on‑prem Kubernetes environment. The ideal candidate can work end‑to‑end from design to implementation, delivering scalable, cloud‑ready solutions. Experience in complex enterprise environments and fast delivery is highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Couchbase, Kafka, STRIIM, Oracle GoldenGate, and Apache NiFi.

• Operate and optimize pipelines in an on‑prem Kubernetes environment, ensuring reliability and performance.

• Work directly with data engineering teams to define architectures, patterns, and technical solutions.

• Prepare pipelines and platforms for future deployment and migration to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Troubleshoot complex issues related to data ingestion, replication, and processing.

• Ensure best practices in security, monitoring, and observability within complex enterprise environments.

• Contribute hands‑on across the full lifecycle, from design through implementation.

Requirements:

• Strong hands‑on experience building complex, large‑scale data pipelines.

• Deep expertise in data streaming, replication, and integration technologies.

• Experience with on‑prem Kubernetes and cloud‑ready architectures.

• Ability to operate in fast‑paced, complex enterprise environments.

• Senior‑level autonomy and confidence in technical decision‑making.
