Job Description:

Candidate with strong experience in IBM Z/OS environments, skilled in monitoring systems, executing and validating JCL jobs, and resolving operational failures. Proficient with utilities and schedulers such as IBM OPC or BMC Control‑M, ensuring accurate execution of production schedules. Also experienced with Linux and comfortable using MS Office tools. 

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the operation and performance of the IBM Z/OS environment;

• Execute, track, and validate JCL jobs;

• Analyze job failures and perform corrections or reruns as needed;

• Perform basic tasks in a Linux environment;

• Monitor and interact with schedulers such as IBM OPC or BMC Control‑M;

• Ensure that production schedules and workflows are executed correctly;

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mainframe Operator;
• Knowledge of IBM z/OS and JCL;
• Knowledge of utilities (SORT/ICEMAN, IEBGENER, IEBCOPY, IDCAMS);
• Knowledge of Linux;
• Knowledge of schedulers, such as IBM OPC and/or BMC Control-M;
• Experience using MS Office tools;
