Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Application Analyst with experience in COBOL development to work in a corporate environment within the financial markets domain. The professional will contribute to technical analysis, application development, and testing activities, supporting the evolution and maintenance of critical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical analysis based on functional specifications.

• Develop software according to the programming standards and guidelines defined by the IT department.

• Participate in application development and maintenance.

• Prepare unit and system test plans.

• Execute unit tests and system tests related to projects managed or supported by the team.

• Produce technical documentation according to established methodologies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of programming experience.

• Strong knowledge of COBOL, DB2, CICS and JCL.

• Experience with technical analysis and application development.

• Knowledge or experience in financial markets, preferably in securities, funds, or insurance.

• Familiarity with Microfocus, Cobol Studio, Confluence and Kanban methodologies (preferred).

• Ability to work with technical documentation and structured development processes.
